About us
History
In 1990, NEOCHEMA was founded by engineer Apostolos Pashalidis-Vollmer as a sole trader. The starting point was his many years of experience as an analytical organic chemist as well as his awareness of the importance of high-quality standards for reliable analytical results.
When it was founded, the company was located in the Technology Centre Mainz, where start-ups were supported by relevant experts in order to be able to build up a viable business base.
The customer base was initially concentrated in Germany but quickly expanded internationally. Thanks to the high-quality products combined with a particularly distinctive customer advisory service and support, the company has continued to grown both in Germany and abroad.
Despite becoming a limited liability company, NEOCHEMA is still family-operated.
Decades of experience in the organic residue analysis market have enabled NEOCHEMA to build up an international reputation as an expert – particularly when it comes to customer-specific standards.
In order to be able to cope with the growth in turnover and staff over the years, the premises were successively expanded. In order to avoid decentralisation in the course of further expansion, the design of a new laboratory and office building in Bodenheim was started in 2020. The equipment with state-of-the-art laboratory technology will further drive compliance with our high quality standards. The completion of the building and the move to the new company headquarters are planned for summer 2022.
Our specialised team
Because NEOCHEMA has been producing standards for trace organic analysis for several decades, the employees have a well-founded expertise. Our first-class trained laboratory team can access an extensive internal database and update and optimise it accordingly in the case of new findings. This ensures that the company’s internal expertise is available to all employees and that work is always carried out at the highest level of quality in the best interest of our customers.

Optimised packaging material
Because our business field is in the environmental sector, we are particularly committed to environmental and climate protection. We use only cardboard boxes made from recycled cardboard, filling paper, and sustainable wet adhesive tape for shipping our products.
Social responsibility
DNEOCHEMA GmbH supports various associations and organisations within the scope of its possibilities. This includes: Bärenherz e.V. Wiesbaden, RTL foundation „Wir helfen Kindern“, World Vision, Ärzte ohne Grenzen e.V., and local sports clubs.
Our „Forest“
For some years, our NEOCHEMA forest has existed through the organisation ‚Treedom‘. This has increased year after year as compensation for our CO₂ consumption.
